It's fantastic to feel so fucking connected. By being a senior, I feel the common overwhelming stress that is weighing us all down. Teenagers, or should I say, young adults, are joining together while embarking on each individual future that carefully weaves together to make the world go round. Some of us have spinning heads as we try to decide which college is right for a particular personality. Some have all ready decided, and are just trying to make it through this final year. Still, others aren't attending college, and are making other plans. It's all just fucking amazing. It's amazing to watch a friend you grew up with get interested in something, whether it be computers, or anatomy, or the government, or cameras, or produce. To hear a friend say "I like that. I'm going to do that," is just incredible. Watching others get motivated is motivating in itself.
Even at work things are stressful, but okay. At the grocery store the general consensus is hey, i hate my job. I hate my job. But look, it's Friday. Today I get paid. Maybe my job isn't so bad. I like sharing those looks that say "Yep. I get paid 5.55 an hour" with the Krispy Kreme guy at the end of the night. I feel understood, numbered maybe, but understood. The entire workforce feels this way at some point or another. I'm part of something. Today I grudgingly fill a customer's perscription. Tomorrow I'm eating at a restaurant and suddenly I'm the customer. Although repititive, the result can be fulfilling and at the end of the day the world is satisfied.
